The Trunk of requirement is the perfect travel companion! The size of the Trunk is 11 1/2 inches tall by 20 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches deep. It has a slip pocket on the back so that you can carry it on your rolling luggage or you can add a crossbody strap to either side of the bag by choosing one of the four d-ring connectors. The inside has 2 slip pockets and an elastic band with a buckle to hold your items in place. This pattern is for the intermediate seamstress with this being such a large bag and drop in lining. Heavy duty domestic friendly, she gets pretty big by the end steps. Please see the video to determine if this pattern is for you. The Trunk of requirement is the perfect bag for personalization with the center panel, many of my testers made embroidery in the center BUT you could also use a really cool double panel!

1 yard of outer fabric
1 1/2 yards of lining fabric
1 1/2 yard of Peltex or foam (this is to help with the body of the bag)
(4) 1 inch D-rings
(2) 1 inch Rectangle rings
(30) 8mm rivets
38 inches of 1 inch elastic
(1) 1 inch buckle
54 inches of #5 zipper tape
